What can Nutrify AI scan?

Nutrify AI scans meals (cooked or packaged) and non-food products including skincare, supplements, and household items. The AI works from a single photo, no barcode required. For packaged products with barcodes, the scan still works through the camera; you don't need to position the barcode specifically.

How accurate is the calorie estimate from a photo?

Photo-based calorie estimation is directional, not lab-grade. For most meals you'll be within ±10-15% of the true calorie count, which matches the natural variation of recipe portions. The app lets you correct the estimate in one tap, and it learns your typical portion sizes over time.

Does Nutrify AI detect seed oils?

Yes, when seed oil information is identifiable from labels or product metadata. Soybean, canola, sunflower, safflower, corn, cottonseed, rice bran, and grapeseed oils are flagged. For unbranded meals at restaurants, we estimate likely seed-oil presence based on dish type (e.g., most fried foods) and call out the uncertainty.

Is Nutrify AI a medical device?

No. Nutrify AI provides educational information and general wellness guidance, not medical advice. For medical decisions or condition-specific dietary recommendations, talk to a registered dietitian or physician. We're a tool to support your decisions, not a replacement for qualified care.

How do I fix a wrong scan?

Tap the scan result to edit the food name, portion size, or ingredient list. Your corrections are saved to your scan history and inform future scans on similar meals. If the AI consistently misidentifies a meal you eat often, send the photo to support@nutrifylab.com, we use these to improve the model.

Can I export my scan history?

Yes. Open Settings → Data → Export, and your full scan history exports as CSV. This includes every scan with calories, macros, additive flags, and timestamps. We don't lock you into the app, your data is yours.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open the App Store, tap your profile, tap Subscriptions, and cancel from there. Apple processes the cancellation, not Nutrify AI, we can't cancel subscriptions on your behalf. Refunds are also handled by Apple under their refund policy.

Is my scan data private?

Yes. Scan photos are processed for the AI analysis and then deleted unless you explicitly save them to your scan history. We don't sell your data. Read the full Privacy Policy at /privacy for details on retention, third-party processors, and your data rights.

Where can I send feedback or feature requests?

Email support@nutrifylab.com. We read every message. For bug reports, include your iOS version and a screenshot if applicable. For feature requests, tell us the use case (what you're trying to do), that helps us prioritize.

When is Android coming?
